General description
Scale and dust collection systems are used on drawing, cold rolling and stretching machines to collect the heavy calamine that normally accumulate during operation and transport / unload it abroad to a dedicated bin or container.
Scale and dust collection systems are designed and tailored according to the specific installation layout of the machines and customer company.
Mainly, two different categories, can be identified: one for the heavy dust and one for the light dust.
Mechanical chain conveyors belong to the first type and they are installed below the main machine body and below the payoff area. These devices can collect the calamine and the heavy dust that fall down by gravity away from wire during the production. One or more lines (installed side by side), can be served by an integrated system sharing one only discharging point.

The second category includes the device for light dusts removal: since Promostar machines body are completely closed by protections, they allow the installation of a dust suction and filtering system able to capture the light dust generated during the wire production. We can supply dedicated devices that have the function not only to maintain clean the internal of the machine but also to optimize the consumption of lubricant when used in combination with our soap adding unit.
